- Be empathetic: You must be able to put yourself in someone else's shoes; only then will you understand the users who make up the community and be able to transfer your knowledge to the company.
- Be a good strategist: Set good goals and don't rush into decisions. You must study the path you want to follow to achieve good results.
- Have a vision of the future: being able to discover new things, knowing how to innovate to stay ahead of the competition.
Skills
- Know about corporate communications, marketing and advertising: that is, knowledge of advertising language and online marketing techniques, since you must manage everything related to the brand or company you represent.
- Know how to write and make headlines for the internetCommunication is very important, and writing is a key part of it. You need to know how to create relevant content that the community understands, as well as be fluent in writing. English is a very popular language used by many, and proficiency in it adds value to the role of community manager.
- Know everything about brands: The community manager must know everything about the brand and/or company they represent, as you can't defend something you don't know. They must understand how the company works and its goals to be a good professional.
- Know how to use the best toolsCommunity managers must know how to use all the digital tools available, as they will find each one very useful in each situation. They must know how to choose, at all times, which tool will be most profitable and convenient for their work.
